Are you a Rich Dad or a Poor Dad?
Now a days, people who are at home, or in the corporate and non-corporate world had a lot of things in mind like, buying a new clothes, shoes, suits, to laptops, cellphones, a motorcycle like Ducati, a car like Honda, Mitsubishi, Toyota, Izuzu, Nissan, Suzuki, BMW, Mercedes Benz, Chevrolet, Volvo, Ford, or a Ferari instead (whew thats a lot!), to obtaining a house that would become the nest of the family, or just the question, when will I get rich?
With all these in our dreams and ambitions, have we asked ourselves why it is so hard to obtain this kind of things? just by plainly working in a certain small to medium to big companies especially here in the Philippines? Why does a few people get rich?, an average belongs to the middle class? and massive individuals are poor? Are we really destined to be a mediocre? or worst, nothing, in terms of wealth?
I myself have asked this questions a lot of times, because I am also a struggling individual in search for answers that would lift up my spirit with regards to my financial stability. I mean, I wanted to have a good wealth too, I wanted to be financially stable, to the point that I would be able to just sat on the side of a coconut tree, in a beach sipping coffee while watching the beautiful shore, wearing that expensive Rayban sunglasses. Everybody wants that, and its not bad.

Before I came here in Manila, on my previous company, Rany Laigo a former colleague and a friend of mine, introduced me to a book entitled "Rich Dad Poor Dad" by Robert T. Kayosaki with Sharon L. Lechter, a book that change my perspective towards Financial Education. What interests me the most is the way Robert presents the story regarding with his two dad, his Rich Dad and his Poor Dad, and the difference between the two of them, that ultimately opened my mind about my blindspots with financial literacy, how important it is?, how the rich people utilize it? and more importantly how it can improve your life?
It really takes dedication to take that step in making ourselves financially intelligent. In the book Robert offers a lot of insights and examples especially with cashflows, also he reveals what the rich buy, that makes them richier that the poor usually know nothing about, and explains the term "Rat race", "Money works for you" and what is it all about.
Every person in the world has the right to become rich, but first we need the right tools and resources that would lead us on how to begin/start and become the right person to deal with challenges the rich people usually face and there are tons of them out there, thats why I am sharing and recommending this book to you guys because this is one of them.
Lets help our self first, so that in return we can help others after.
